Missing

Nowadays, I'm missing the spring quarter classes. During the spring quarter, I really liked whole of my classes even our beside class' noisy sounds. There were just 9classmates so we could have very funny time and made deep friendships. Of course my new classmates are also nice people and there are many already known classmates but it is not funny like our spring classes. Nowadays, my class time is super boring. I don't know why but definitely the spring quarter classes time were very funny and exciting so I felt time was passed very quickly. I know my judgment about new classes is too hasty because I took new classes just 2days. But it is sure that I'm really missing spring quarter classes...T_T

Hello every one. : ) It is time to finish our class. I can't believe the time have almost finished already. Also I don't want to believe that we have to do farewell. I want to keep all of our class for more time, but I know it is impossible. At first time, before I came here, I worried about "Can I have good friends?" or "Can I adapt to new environment?". But I recognized that my worrying was useless thing after I took a class. Fortunately I met excellent teacher and classmates. Because of you, I had wonderful times instead of homesickness.

Thanks for Lauren. Your teaching is really nice so my English skill has improved much for a short time. Especially, I recognize that my English skill and sentences were changed when I read my previous wrighting. Say again, thank you very much. It is the most of fortune that you are my teacher.

Thanks for Sam. When we were in spring orientation, we had many conversations. And I was glad to meet you again in the same class but you've been absent from our class many times. My goal is to be a math or science teacher. I've liked math and science since when I was a middle school student. After I go back to my country, I'm going to choose one between math and science and from then on I'm going to study deeply about my first choice. While I study hard, I'm going to make an effort to get a teacher license. But there are some problems. First, I'm not sure whether it is my aptitude or not. Definitely, I like math and science but I've never thought about I have an aptitude in them. And even though I like them, my ability in them is not enough to be a teacher. The second one is too late to start to make an effort to get a teacher license. I know that it must take time, at least 4 years. But I think, it is not serious problem if I eagerly want to be it. The last and most serious problem is lack of jobs. Even if I get a teacher license it is not sure that I will get a job. There are too many competitors but there are lack of jobs. But I'm never going to give up but to make an effort until I achieve my goal. : )

The Folk Song Festival : )

Last weekend, I went to the Seattle Center with my friends. The weather was very nice : )

Around of the Seattle Center were very crowded. I lost my friends one time after went to rest room... I'm very bad at way... Even I didn't have a phone so my friends were suffering to find me. I'm sorry.. : ) I'm put to feel that I couldn't take a picture because my battery of camera was empty. Hey you guys, please send to me your pictures.. T_T

Anyway, it was very big festival so I could see many things. And I had a culture shock with SooWoong. Actually, Korea doesn't have any festival like it. While I looking around that festival, I had a feeling that the people who live in U.S.A are very enjoying there life. Koreans are usually to stay at home and take a rest on weekend or holiday, I think. Because their working is very hard and tired so they don't want to go out. But in here, most of people are very enjoing their life. I usually felt it since I arrived here. I envy of their life style very much. Of course they might have worries each but they look happy and pleasant usually.

I met another classmates there and play with them. It was also good : )

When we entered some restaurant that near the North Gate for dinner, I was very surprised... It was too expensive.. haha. So SooWoong and me ordered one food and shared it. The food was 'Hawaian Pizza' but its taste was... soso... T_T

SooWoong, thanks for your pick up. You are a very kind person. : )

I had a very nice day with my friends.

I hope we can do anything more together in the future..

Seattle ESL Explorers: TRAVEL REVIEW

It was a first trip with our classmates and teacher. I had a very nice time and made good rememberances. When that day morning, I met my orientation friends and advisors and I said to them about our trip. All of them envied of our trip greatly, so I was proud of it. Soon before the bus started, Soowoong and Kasey could take on a bus barely. You guys are problem maker! It was my fist experience to take on ferry. It was very exciting. I didn't know it is really nice and beautiful that views of downtown from on the beach. Anyway, at the first time that we arrived at Bainbridge Island, I couldn't get a special feeling in comparison with another place actually. But during I stayed and walked around there, my thinking and feeling was changed. It was very peaceful and calmness, so it made me comfortable. Specially, it made me very funny and happy that walked and talked with my very nice classmates and teacher. I was really sorry to teacher missed ferry cause she waited for us but we didn't hurry, so it made her embarrassing. Sorry... It was pretty good time also that after Lauren and Bryan went back their home, our continued trip in downtown. It was put to feel about without them but we continued our schedules. We went to strange store, Lauren recommended for us, the first Starbucks, Pike Place Market. After that, we went to NorthGate and had a dinner together. I had really nice time. : )
